Taylor was very surprised at his surprise party. One of my oldest and best friends Taylor Davis is engaged to a wonderful woman. It was a great engagment party, especially since we caught him and Kristen entirely off guard.
This month has been very busy here in NYC with lots of steady gigs, practicing, and writing. Highlights included working with Chikako and Lisette on some new Donkey material and spending the day at Cyro’s house. We learned a really tough section from King Crimsons “Court of the Crimson King,” a tune by the amazing Brazilian guitarist Toninho Horta, and started to work on a new vocal tune of mine called “Dream.”
